Killed in Training
Udar Range, Kuwait

- Staff Sergeant Jason M. Faleywas killed in a training accident at the Udari Bombing Range in Kuwait.
- The incident took place during a nighttime close air support exercise (CASEX).
- A Navy F/A-18C mistakenly dropped its MK-82, 500-pound ordnance on or near SSgt Faley’s observation post at the Udairi Test Range.
- SSgt Faleywas assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, 5th Special Forces Group, and various units at Ft Campbell and in Korea.
- Jason was survived by Shannon (wife), Andrew (son), Sue (Mother) and Brian (Brother).
